A monologue is a dramatic piece performed by a single performer, typically a longer speech. 
Monologues should be memorized to the best of your ability. 
You will earn more points for memorization

You may use any of these suggested or you may find your own middle school appropriate monologue.
Sometimes Amazon reviews are really funny and can be acted out as a monologue as well.
Make sure whatever you choose is long enough to SHOWCASE you and your personality.

Spoken Diction
Stage Presence
Facial Expressions
Emotion
Was monlogue memorized
