Oakland Middle Choirs
Concert Choir
A mixed choir of male and female voices composed of 6th - 8th graders.  This is a beginner to intermediate ensemble that will focus on the growing interest in the choir and performing in front of others.  (ATTENDANCE AT ALL PERFORMANCES IS REQUIRED)
 
Fees for Concert Choir:
New Members that need both Variety Show Shirt and Black and White Choir shirt: $50
Returning members who have a black and white shirt: $30
*ALL STUDENTS NEED A NEW VARIETY SHOW SHIRT, this design changes yearly
 
3 Concerts per year
Variety Show: October 2025
Winter Concert: December 2025
Spring Concert: April 2026
 
Women's Choir
An all-female group composed of 7th and 8th graders.  This is an auditioned group.  (ATTENDANCE AT ALL PERFORMANCES IS REQUIRED)
Fees for Women's Choir:
$20
*Our shirts will have a new design
*This fee is in addition to the regular choir fee

Auditions will take place in class after the Spring Concert. 
Women's choir is only offered to 7th and 8th graders.
*Current Members DO NOT have to audition again
 
 
OMS Charged Harmony
This is a Show Choir style mixed ensemble of 7th and 8th-grade boys and girls. This group is capped at 30 members and is an auditioned group.   
(ATTENDANCE AT ALL PERFORMANCES REQUIRED).  
Fees for Charged Harmony:
$20 (only new members)
*This shirt design will NOT change.

Musical Theatre- Any student can audition to be in this group.  Any student in the group must participate and audition for the school's musical.  Please visit the OMS Theatre webpage for more info CLICK HERE
