Physicals (We must have a physical on file in order to practice.)
Any and all participants must have a physical form completed by a healthcare provider and submitted to the school. 

 

All wrestlers must be a member of AAU to compete in tournaments and some matches, go to https://www.tnyouthwrestling.com/ to sign up. We will have a team code set up once we are closer to the season.   

Without a valid AAU card wrestlers will not be allowed in tournaments. 

 

 

Wrestlers must provide their own uniforms and wrestling gear for matches. 

  

 

Headgear Purchase Options

Wrestlers are required to wear headgear during their matches. You can purchase a good pair that will last through High School through many online sources.

 

Shoes

Wrestlers will be required to have Wrestling shoes. Amazon and Dick's Sporting good provides quality shoes for a fair price, or the links above.  Running shoes will also be needed for off the mat activities. 

 

Wrestling Uniform during matches

During matches wrestlers must wear either a singlet, or fight shorts with a compression shirt. In addition to wrestling shoes and headgear. (THERE CAN BE NO DESIGNS ON THE ATTIRE, ONLY SCHOOL COLORS AND SCHOOL MASCOTS)

 

Sweatpants and Sweatshirts

Wrestlers should wear either all red or all navy blue sweats to matches and tournaments.  No logos except for the Oakland logo. (THERE CAN BE NO DESIGNS ON THE ATTIRE, ONLY SCHOOL COLORS AND SCHOOL MASCOTS)

 

OUR FIRST MATCH IS LATE SEPTEMBER.

 

WRESTLERS MAY NOT COMPETE IN MATCHES WITHOUT ALL PAPERWORK AND THE APPROPRIATE ATTIRE FOR MATCHES.
