Hello! I am Melanie Coleman, your child's 8th grade math teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. With 12 years of experience as an educator and my fourth year at OMS, I am thrilled to be part of your child's academic journey. My primary focus is to ensure your child's success in 8th grade material while also emphasizing high school preparation. Please take note that the calendar will be updated daily with assignments, quiz dates, homework due dates, etc.
Supplies needed:
- 3 ring binder
- one pack of divider tabs
- loose leaf paper
- dry erase markers
All other materials will be provided for your child as needed (rulers, colored pencils, markers, glue stick). If you feel more comfortable for your child to use their own, then please feel free to provide these items.
