Parents - As we enter the last few weeks of summer and many of you begin to plan for school, we wanted to make sure you have plenty of time to make adjustments to your school supply lists. To assist with students entering the building each morning through the Weapons Detection System, we are asking parents and teachers alike to not use/require 3-ring binders. 

These binders create an alert when brought through the WDS which causes your student to be screened further before entering the building. Some students opt to remove the binder from their backpack before coming in the building which helps them get through the line, but they have to stop after screening to put their binder back in their bag. 

Simply put, this will help your student to get through the WDS each morning more quickly and smoothly. We appreciate your cooperation with this minor adjustment and we are looking forward to seeing you and your student soon!
