beta

National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. And for more than 80 years, it has prepared today's students to become tomorrow's leaders. Between the Junior Beta (grades 4-8) and Senior Beta (grades 9-12), the organization has helped nearly seven million students learn how to make a life for themselves—and, since 1991, it has awarded over $6 million in scholarships.

Since opening our doors in 2010, the Oakland Middle School Jr. Beta Club has committed itself to the promotion of Leadership, Service, Character, and Academic Achievement.

Junior Beta Club at Oakland Middle is open to 7th and 8th grade students who maintain all A's and B's and show worthy character. In the spring of each year, 6th graders (and new 7th graders) who meet all academic and behavioral qualifications will be invited to join the OMS Beta Club.
