Letter to Parents and Students Interested in Bowling 2023-2024
Thank you for your interest in the OMS Bowling Team for the 2023-2024 school year!
Practice: After school at LTA Depot and will begin after we return from Fall Break, on Thursdays from 4-5. Our first meeting and practice will be held on Thursday October 12 starting at 4pm. The address is 450 Butler Drive, Murfreesboro TN 37127.
Our regular season runs from January through the end of March, with team and individual roll-offs happening in early April.
Matches: After school at LTA Depot, dates and times to follow.
Matches are scored by head-to-head wins and overall pinfall after each of 3 games, with 3 extra points going to the team with the highest total pinfall from all 3 matches.
Fees: Includes the team jersey, trophies, shoe rentals, clinics, and any lane fees. At the first practice, we will create a roster and make arrangements for any parents that would prefer to pay online. We will fund the end-of-year banquet using money we make from our Bowl-A-Thon.
The bowling Rules of conduct will be given out at the first meeting. School behavior and dress code will apply during practice and matches. Parents will sign up for the OMS Bowling Remind to receive important information and/or cancellations of practice.
